Privacy Policy
Updated: 18 September 2026. This notice describes how FateVoice handles account, reading and consultation data. Features that are not enabled do not perform the processing described for those features.
Data Controller
FateVoice is operated by Yuan Luozhen (袁罗桢) in his personal capacity, and he is responsible for the handling described in this notice. The Qingwei lineage is his traditional affiliation, not a separate company or legal entity. Privacy requests: support@fatevoice.com.
Data and purposes
We store account and email information, birth details you submit, saved profiles, orders, reports, consultation appointments and messages to provide account access, analysis, human review, delivery and access to purchased services.
Consultation records include messages from both participants, successful translations, language settings and translation status/attempt records. Avoid including passwords, payment card details or other unnecessary sensitive information in messages.
Service providers
Necessary data is processed by the providers used for website hosting, sign-in, analysis and translation. If payment or email delivery is enabled, the relevant provider also processes the information needed for that service. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
Reading generation uses our analysis service and its configured model providers. Chat translation is a separate service: it does not start the full Dify report workflow.
External chat translation
When enabled for a cross-language consultation, translation is configured to use Alibaba Cloud Model Studio's Qwen service in the China (Beijing) region. Each request sends the message to translate and translation instructions, including the target language and a terminology glossary.
A translation request does not automatically include the full chat history, birth profile, report or account email. However, personal information you type into that message is part of the text sent to the provider.
The provider may retain call records and, depending on its terms and logging settings, message content. We do not promise zero retention by the provider. See the provider information below.
Machine translation may contain errors. Originals remain available, and a failed translation does not delete or prevent saving the original message. Clarify important meanings with the other participant.
Retention and later access
Messages from both participants and successful translations are retained long-term so you can sign in and reread a paid consultation after it ends. Ending or cancelling a consultation closes sending; it does not delete its history. Translation status and attempt records are also retained.
The database and report files are included in encrypted backups on our privately managed NAS, not in a public code repository. Backups are recovery copies, not a separate customer-facing service.
There is currently no automatic expiry or 90-day deletion for birth data, reports or paid chat history. Data is not automatically erased when a report is generated or a consultation ends.
Requests to access, correct or delete data require manual identity and scope checks, taking paid-service records and applicable legal obligations into account. Self-service account and data deletion is not currently available; immediate removal from all backups is not promised.
Access and security
Access to consultation history is restricted to its participants and authorized administrators. Operational alerts use status/count information rather than chat text. Service credentials are kept server-side, and backup files are encrypted. These measures do not mean that every stored copy is encrypted or that any system is risk-free.
